Terms of service.
These Terms govern use of the summit website, portal, registration and screening processes, event activities, live winner selection and rebranding programme.
Operator and acceptance
The Website and programme are operated by Omega Offset Printers, Takyel Khongbal Branch, Imphal, Manipur. By creating an account, submitting an application, checking an acceptance box, attending or otherwise participating, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, official rules, declarations and applicable programme agreements.
Electronic acceptance is recognised under India’s Information Technology Act. Agreement validity remains subject to lawful purpose, competent parties and free consent under applicable Indian contract law.
Definitions
Key words used throughout these Terms.
- Omega, we, us or our — Omega Offset Printers
- Summit or Event — Omega Startup Summit 1.0 and its registration, screening, programme, selection and rebranding activities
- Website — the public website, participant portal, administration system and related services
- Applicant — a person submitting or managing a startup application
- Participant — an authorised applicant, founder, representative, speaker, guest, volunteer, sponsor, partner, influencer or media person
- Startup — the enterprise, venture, project, product or service represented
- Final Eligible List — the verified and frozen list approved for selection
- Provisional Winner — the startup selected first but not finally confirmed
- Rebranding Package — customised services and production support worth up to ₹5,00,000
- User Content — submitted information, documents, images, video, artwork, comments, profiles or presentations
Acceptance of the Terms
You accept these Terms by using the programme in any of the following ways.
- Create an account or check an acceptance box
- Submit an application or upload documents
- Register as a speaker, partner, volunteer or media person
- Receive or use a summit pass or attend the Summit
- Participate in winner selection or rebranding
- Continue using the Website after being shown these Terms
Do not use the Website or programme if you do not accept these Terms.
Eligibility to Use the Website
Independent applicant accounts and startup applications are restricted to people aged 18 or older.
- Have legal capacity to accept these Terms
- Provide accurate information
- Be authorised to act for the represented startup or organisation
- Use the Website lawfully
- Follow official rules and reasonable authorised instructions
- Under-18 participation requires an approved institutional, parental, guardian or other authorised arrangement
Account Registration
Certain services require an account. You are responsible for keeping it accurate and secure.
- Use an active email and mobile number
- Create a secure password and keep credentials confidential
- Protect verification codes and update account information
- Notify Omega promptly about suspected misuse
- Log out from shared devices
- Do not impersonate, share, sell or transfer accounts
- Do not use automated account-creation tools or access another account
Omega may request identity verification before restoring or changing account access.
Startup Applications
Applicants must submit complete, accurate and genuine information about the founder, startup, offer, stage, market, branding, systems, evidence, declarations and consent choices.
- Submission does not guarantee eligibility
- Submission does not guarantee admission to every session or publication
- Submission does not guarantee inclusion in the Final Eligible List
- Submission does not guarantee winner selection
- Submission does not guarantee funding, credit, grant, institutional assistance or commercial success
Application Deadline
The official registration period is 20 July–20 September 2026. A draft is not a submitted application.
- Late applications may be rejected unless an official extension is announced
- Registration may pause for technical failure, security, law, capacity, force majeure or programme revision
- Material changes will be announced through an official channel
Accuracy of Submitted Information
Applicants declare that submissions, documents, photographs, claims, authority and intellectual-property permissions are truthful and valid.
- Omega may request clarification or additional and original documents
- Verification may involve calls, video meetings or business visits
- False or misleading information may cause rejection, disqualification, suspension or withdrawal of benefits
Preliminary Screening
Applications are planned for screening from 21–30 September 2026.
- Eligibility, identity and ownership verification
- Document and startup-authenticity review
- Duplicate and conflict-of-interest checks
- Social-profile verification
- Participation and rebranding readiness
- Statuses may include Draft, Submitted, Under Review, Correction Required, Resubmitted, Further Verification, Eligible, Ineligible, Waiting List and Final Eligible
Internal reviewer notes, security flags and fraud-risk records will not ordinarily be disclosed publicly.
Correction Requests
Omega may reopen specific fields when information is incomplete, unclear or inconsistent.
- Read the notice and provide only requested information
- Submit authentic corrections before the stated deadline
- Avoid changing unrelated information
- The original submission may remain preserved
- Failure to respond may result in incomplete or ineligible status
Duplicate Applications
Normally only one eligible entry is allowed per startup.
- Omega may compare names, contacts, identifiers, addresses, public profiles, files, photographs and descriptions
- A similarity flag is not automatic proof of wrongdoing
- Applicants may be asked to clarify genuine branches, entities or accidental duplicates
- Deliberate multiple entries intended to increase selection chances may be disqualified
Final Eligible List
Only Final Eligible startups may enter the winner-selection process.
- Assign anonymised draw IDs and review duplicates
- Freeze the list, record the count, export it and generate a cryptographic file hash
- Preserve earlier versions and record authorised reopening
- Verified administrative error, late duplicate, law, confirmed disqualification or material technical issue may justify an authorised correction
A frozen list must never be silently changed; reasons, approvals and versions should remain recorded.
Summit Attendance
The Summit is scheduled for 9–11 October 2026 at Omega Offset Printers, Takyel Khongbal Branch, Imphal.
- Carry an approved pass or QR code and ID where requested
- Wear the issued badge and follow entry, seating and access controls
- Respect speakers, staff and participants
- Keep emergency routes clear and follow safety instructions
- Use facilities responsibly and leave restricted areas when directed
- Passes are personal unless a replacement representative is formally approved
Programme Changes
Omega may reasonably change speakers, session titles or times, order, moderators, venue zones, seating, technical arrangements, livestreams, food or refreshments.
- Changes may follow availability, technical conditions, weather, safety, security, public orders or operational needs
- Material changes will be communicated through appropriate official channels where practical
Resource-Person Information
Sessions are provided for general education and awareness.
- They do not constitute loan, grant or government approval
- They are not legal, tax or investment advice
- They do not guarantee financial assistance, incubation or business success
- Participants should verify important requirements with the relevant authority or qualified professional
Live Winner Selection
The live winner-selection event is planned for 11 October 2026.
- Frozen Final Eligible List and anonymised IDs
- Recorded count and file hash
- Public random seed and deterministic selection software
- One Provisional Winner and reserve entries
- Witnesses, signed records, screen recording and video recording
- Influencers, hosts, sponsors, speakers and partners cannot choose based on preference
Provisional Winner Verification
The first selected startup remains provisional until final checks are complete.
- Identity, ownership and document verification
- Conflict-of-interest review
- Winner-agreement acceptance
- Programme availability and required media or project consent
- Confirmation that no material information was false
- A reserve may be activated after failure, withdrawal, refusal, non-participation, disqualification or non-response
₹5,00,000 Rebranding Package
The confirmed winner may receive a customised service and production package worth up to ₹5,00,000.
- May include audit, strategy, identity, guidelines, packaging, printing, signage, photography, video, marketing, social media, website, systems, documentary and reveal
- Not cash, not normally redeemable for cash and not transferable without written approval
- Does not include every listed service automatically
- Customised after audit and subject to approved scope and allocation
- Ordinarily completed by 31 January 2027
- May exclude statutory fees, licences, taxes and third-party costs
Rebranding Allocation
Value may be distributed among approved design, production, digital, photography, signage and other services according to business needs.
- The value ledger may record deliverable, specification, quantity, approved rate, allocated and consumed value, balance, approvals and change history
- The advertised maximum does not create a right to demand ₹5,00,000 in any preferred form
- Unused value cannot normally be withdrawn, transferred or used for personal purchases
- Unused value may expire at closure or be reallocated within the approved project
Winner Responsibilities
The winner must actively support project delivery.
- Nominate one authorised decision-maker and attend meetings
- Supply accurate business, product and legally required packaging information
- Respond, review proofs and approve production in writing within deadlines
- Cooperate with photography, filming and approved installation access
- Avoid unreasonable delay, use deliverables lawfully and complete agreements
- Repeated delay or breach may reduce, suspend or cancel unfinished work
Properly completed or incurred work may remain counted against the package value.
Product and Packaging Information
The startup remains responsible for the accuracy and legality of supplied product information.
- Product name, ingredients, nutrition, weight and manufacturer details
- Licences, batch information, dates, warnings and claims
- Directions, barcodes and regulatory declarations
- Omega may assist with layout but does not certify supplied legal content unless agreed in writing
- The startup must approve final proofs before production
Design Approvals and Changes
Design work may include reasonable concept, review and revision stages.
- Consolidate feedback through one authorised channel
- Review names, numbers and legal text
- Approve print-ready artwork
- Understand that post-approval changes can add cost or delay
- Omega is not responsible for clear approved-proof errors, incorrect winner information or unauthorised alterations
- Omega remains responsible for correcting its own failure to follow the approved proof, subject to production terms
User Content
You retain ownership of original content you lawfully own.
- You confirm ownership or permission and that content is lawful, non-defamatory and non-fraudulent
- You permit Omega to store, review, reproduce, resize, format and use content for the submitted purpose
- Permitted purposes include applications, screening, summit operations, consented profiles, souvenir, rebranding, records and consented media
- Publication remains subject to consent choices and the Privacy Policy
Public Startup Profiles
With publication consent, approved startup information may appear publicly.
- Directory, souvenir, presentations, displays, social media, reports and press material
- May include approved startup and founder names, logo, sector, description, offer, photographs, website, public social links and business contacts
- Private identity, tax, banking and screening documents will not normally be published
Photography, Video and Livestreaming
The Summit may be photographed, recorded or livestreamed.
- General coverage may include sessions, audience, exhibitions, networking, interviews, selection and closing activities
- Specific consent may apply to testimonials, founder interviews, documentary, commercial promotion and detailed workplace filming
- Participants must not record screening screens, private documents, passwords, restricted areas or confidential discussions
Intellectual Property
The summit name, logos, graphics, website design, text, forms, documents, photographs, video, software, draw systems, templates and training materials may belong to Omega or its licensors.
- Do not copy, sell, modify, republish or commercially exploit protected material without permission
- Limited lawful use may be allowed for reporting, participation or another authorised purpose
Rebranding Intellectual Property
Ownership and usage rights for winner deliverables will be defined in the winner agreement.
- Transferred final files and inclusion of editable sources
- Timing and conditions of rights transfer
- Omega portfolio and promotional rights
- Rights in rejected concepts, stock assets, fonts and third-party materials
- Domain, hosting, software and website licensing
- Restrictions on unauthorised resale
Rejected concepts and unused drafts remain Omega’s property unless otherwise agreed.
Acceptable Use
Users must not misuse the Website, event or programme.
- Break the law, submit fraud or impersonate
- Upload malware or attempt to bypass, probe or scan security
- Scrape without permission or interfere with another account
- Manipulate screening or selection, bribe, threaten or pressure anyone
- Harass people, publish private documents or disrupt the Summit
- Spam, infringe intellectual property or upload hateful, obscene or unlawful content
Omega may investigate misuse and preserve relevant evidence.
Prohibited Businesses and Content
Omega may reject or remove applications associated with unlawful or materially harmful activity.
- Illegal goods, fraud, counterfeits or stolen property
- Harmful or deceptive products, exploitation, hate or violent extremism
- Unlawful gambling or unauthorised financial schemes
- Serious intellectual-property infringement
- Material safety risks or activity prohibited by law
Confidential investigation details need not be disclosed publicly.
Suspension and Termination
Accounts, applications, passes, accreditation or participation may be suspended or terminated for serious cause.
- Material breach, fraud, forgery or security abuse
- Duplicate manipulation, harassment, violence or disruption
- Failure to cooperate, unlawful activity or misuse of confidential information
- Interference with the draw or essential winner obligations
- Notice and clarification may be offered where reasonable
- Immediate action may protect safety, security, evidence or programme integrity
Third-Party Services and Links
The Website may link to government, banks, universities, sponsors, social platforms, maps, video, payments, communications and startup websites.
- Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies
- A link or institutional participation is not a guarantee or endorsement of every statement, service or offer
Website Availability
Omega aims to keep the Website available but cannot promise uninterrupted access.
- Maintenance, server or internet failure, cyberattack, power loss, third-party failure, traffic or force majeure may affect access
- A confirmed system-wide failure may justify a deadline extension or alternative submission method
- Applicants should submit early enough to avoid ordinary last-minute connection problems
No Guarantee of Business Outcomes
Participation does not guarantee any specific commercial or institutional result.
- Funding, revenue, customers or investment
- Government recognition, incubation or profitability
- Market success, legal compliance, trademark or product approval
- Website traffic or social-media growth
- Outcomes depend on startup decisions, quality, management, markets and regulation
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Omega is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising solely from general summit information, third-party statements, external websites, unavailable funding, expected-profit loss, incorrect user information, unauthorised account sharing or events beyond reasonable control.
- Nothing excludes liability, remedies or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted
- Applicable consumer protections, including remedies under Indian law, remain available where they apply
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, users agree to compensate Omega for direct losses, liabilities or reasonable legal costs caused by specified user misconduct.

- Infringement of another person’s rights
- Unauthorised use of another organisation’s identity
- Material breach of these Terms
- Incorrect product or legal information supplied for publication or production
This does not cover losses caused by Omega’s own unlawful conduct, fraud, wilful misconduct or negligence.
Force Majeure
Omega is not in breach where obligations cannot reasonably be performed because of events beyond its control.
- Natural disaster, flood, earthquake, fire or epidemic
- Civil disturbance, government restriction or court order
- Transport shutdown, severe weather, power or internet failure
- Cyberattack, venue unavailability or public-safety emergency
- Affected activities may be postponed, relocated, shortened, modified, livestreamed or cancelled
- Material changes will be communicated where possible
Complaints and Grievances
Users may complain about account access, registration, screening communication, privacy, public content, conduct, website security, rebranding or prize records.
- Provide full name and registered contact
- Include the application reference where applicable
- Describe the issue and provide relevant evidence
- State the requested resolution
- Omega may verify identity before discussing private records
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Subject to mandatory statutory forums, disputes ordinarily fall within competent courts and authorities in Imphal, Manipur
- Nothing prevents access to a consumer forum, regulator, statutory body or other lawful authority
Informal Dispute Resolution
Before formal proceedings, parties should try written resolution.
- Provide contact details, relevant facts, records and preferred resolution
- Omega may request further information or propose a meeting
- Urgent and statutory remedies remain unaffected
Changes to These Terms
Terms may change for law, website or security requirements, programme revisions, new services, operational improvements or future editions.
- The revised date will be displayed
- Material changes may be announced by website, dashboard, email, WhatsApp or registration notice
- Changes affecting submitted applications or confirmed benefits will be applied fairly and may require fresh acceptance
Severability
If one provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply as far as legally possible.
- An invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced to reflect its lawful purpose as closely as possible
No Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision immediately does not permanently waive the right to enforce it later.

These Terms should be read with related policies, rules and specific agreements.
