Use of summit information

By accessing the website, submitting an application or participating in the summit, you acknowledge this Disclaimer together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Official Event Rules and Eligibility Criteria.

Summit information supports education, awareness, networking and programme administration. Important legal, financial, tax, technical and investment decisions require independent professional advice.

SECTION 01

General Information Only

Information published on the website or presented during the summit is provided for general education, awareness, networking and programme administration.

The information should not be treated as a substitute for professional:

  • Legal advice
  • Tax advice
  • Accounting advice
  • Investment advice
  • Banking advice
  • Technical certification
  • Regulatory advice
  • Medical or safety advice

Participants should consult an appropriately qualified professional or the relevant government authority before making important business, financial, legal, tax or investment decisions.

SECTION 02

No Guarantee of Financial Assistance

The participation of government departments, banks, financial institutions, universities, incubators, technical agencies or resource persons does not guarantee that an applicant will receive:

  • A loan
  • A grant
  • A subsidy
  • Investment
  • Credit approval
  • Incubation
  • Technical assistance
  • Registration approval
  • Certification
  • Government support
  • Institutional partnership

Any application for financial or institutional assistance will remain subject to the separate eligibility criteria, assessment process, documentation requirements and decisions of the relevant institution.

SECTION 03

No Government Endorsement

The appearance of a government department, public institution, bank, university, resource person or official at the summit does not automatically mean that the Government of Manipur, Government of India or any public authority endorses:

  • Omega Offset Printers
  • Every participating startup
  • Every speaker’s opinion
  • Every product or service displayed
  • The winner-selection process
  • The commercial performance of the selected startup

Any official partnership, sponsorship or endorsement will be described only where written confirmation has been received.

SECTION 04

No Guarantee of Business Success

Participation in Omega Startup Summit 1.0 does not guarantee:

  • Business growth
  • Increased sales
  • Profitability
  • Customer acquisition
  • Market acceptance
  • Funding
  • Investment
  • Employment generation
  • Social-media growth
  • Website traffic
  • Brand recognition
  • Product approval
  • Trademark registration
  • Export opportunities
  • Long-term commercial success

Business results depend on several factors beyond the organiser’s control, including product quality, pricing, management, customer demand, competition, regulatory compliance and market conditions.

SECTION 05

Registration Does Not Guarantee Eligibility

Submission of a registration form does not automatically guarantee:

  • Acceptance of the application
  • Final Eligible status
  • Entry into the live winner-selection process
  • Admission to every summit activity
  • Inclusion in the souvenir magazine
  • A startup exhibition stall
  • Media coverage
  • Selection as the winner
  • Receipt of any branding service

Only applications that meet the published requirements and successfully complete preliminary screening may be included in the Final Eligible List.

SECTION 06

Screening Disclaimer

Preliminary screening is intended to verify application completeness, applicant eligibility, startup authenticity, documents, business ownership, conflicts of interest and participation readiness.

The screening team may rely on:

  • Information provided by the applicant
  • Uploaded documents
  • Publicly available business information
  • Telephone or email verification
  • Social-media profiles
  • Website information
  • Physical or video verification
  • Additional supporting evidence

Omega Offset Printers does not guarantee that every false statement, forged document or undisclosed fact will be detected during initial screening.

An applicant may be disqualified later if material falsehood, fraud, duplication, conflict of interest or ineligibility is discovered after preliminary approval.

SECTION 07

Live Winner-Selection Disclaimer

The selected startup will be chosen only from the frozen Final Eligible List using the procedure described in the Official Event Rules.

The process may include:

  • Anonymised draw IDs

  • A recorded list count
  • A cryptographic file hash
  • A publicly generated random seed
  • Documented selection software
  • Independent witnesses
  • Screen and video recording
  • One Provisional Winner
  • Reserve startups

The first startup selected will be treated as the Provisional Winner, not the finally confirmed winner.

Final confirmation remains subject to identity, ownership, document, conflict-of-interest, tax and programme-availability verification.

SECTION 08

No Purchase Necessary

No purchase from Omega Offset Printers is required to register or obtain one eligible entry in the winner-selection process.

Purchasing printing, packaging, signage, design or other commercial services from Omega Offset Printers will not increase an applicant’s chance of being selected.

Applicants must not pay any person who claims to guarantee:

  • Application approval
  • Final Eligible status
  • Preferential screening
  • A draw entry
  • Winner selection
  • A government benefit
  • A speaking opportunity

Suspected fraud should be reported to connect@omegasummit.in.

SECTION 11

Tax Disclaimer

The selected startup or its legal recipient may have tax, reporting or documentation obligations arising from the package.

Indian tax law contains provisions concerning specified winnings, including situations where a benefit is wholly or partly provided in kind. Whether those provisions or any other tax provisions apply to this particular service package must be determined by Omega’s chartered accountant and the winner’s own tax adviser based on the final structure and applicable law.

The organiser may require:

  • PAN or tax information
  • Tax declarations
  • Proof of tax compliance
  • Deduction or payment required by law
  • Completion of tax documentation before deliverables are released

Neither the website nor summit sessions constitute personal tax advice.

  • A business name will be legally available
  • A domain name will remain available
  • A design will never resemble existing market material
  • Packaging will obtain regulatory approval
  • Rebranding will increase revenue
  • Marketing materials will achieve a specified response rate

The selected startup should obtain appropriate trademark searches, legal clearance and regulatory advice where necessary.
